In Loving Memory

I once was leading a class discussion forum for university with two classmates. Among the “formal” questions we had posted and had our classmates discuss about, I posted a question that said something like, “What Makes Me Smile”. People were welcome to share about what made them smile during their week in their internship in schools.

I once was talking with a friend about the importance of remembering what God had done in our lives so we would trust Him for our present circumstances and not depend on ourselves and keep worrying. My friend thought I could use this as a topic for my blog sometime (or at least, that’s what I understood). So here it is.

This page is literally in “loving memory” of the things God has done for me. Small and great. Daily stuff. Things I must remember so I rest in God and do not lose heart . If you wish to add your own “God’s Winks”, please leave a comment, it would be delighting.

  12. That sounds like fun. Well, the part where you get to be taught by Karine, maybe not the part where you are a réceptioniste… I don’t like that kind of a job, sorry. Anyways, but will you be working there on Saturdays or what during the summer… because… aren’t you working in a camp 5 days a week pretty soon? This is getting like an email conversation but this is a blog. Oh well, you’re probably the only person that comes on this page anyways!

how do you see a blessing in number 41?

    Reply

  17. You’re right, that does not seem like a blessing and truly is not, but only in a certain way. The moment I realized I had lost my ring I did not feel the normal frustration and/or worry I usually feel when I lose something I value. Rather, I felt totally fine with it – yes, I was sad, but I was simply content anyways because it was simply a ring.

Thus, I want to remember this #41 because it reminds me that things are things and I can rejoice no matter what I lose on earth. Christ is all I need.

its neat to see how god is blessing you in tiny and big ways.

    i have a blessing:
having you in the appartment for the summer!
having you at clic for the summer!

  19. Hey, we’ve been living in the same place for only a few days now, and haven’t started working together yet so… we’ll see how you feel in a few weeks! But I’m sure it’ll be great, we never had any trouble either working together or living together. I must say that it was always a blessing actually.

  20. Funny, I came to read your blessing page, to add to the list:

God blessing me with a little one like you in my life. One with whom I can share anything, one in whom I trust! A little one that I love! Your precious gabe! je t’aime.

je viens de relire nos derniers note, about you being in the appt. and working at clic. It was indeed one heck of a blessed summer. Vive La fidèlité de Dieu!
