Lies (not) to live by
1. If I want something, I should have it. No matter the considerations involved.
2. It’s terrible and unjust if I have to wait to get something I want.
3. To be uncomfortable or frustrated is terrible, intolerable!
4. I cannot control my strong desires. They are “needs” and I can’t stand it when they are not satisfied.
5. Any time I have to spend being frustrated or ungratified is unendurable!
6. I cannot stand pain or discomfort.
7. I cannot stand exerting myself or having to make an effort.
8. I cannot fight my desires. They are much too strong for me to handle them.
