I, sick.

Hello there, yes you are right, this is Monday and it’s around 11:55am and I am writing a post on this blog. I should be at day-camp, taking care of 12 little kids, but I am sick.

The story begins last week at Parole de Vie Béthel (Bible college + camp). A good bunch of their counsellors and campers had Gastro. My friend Do and I went there during the weekend to feed them (well the counsellors since the campers leave on Saturdays). Everything went well.

On Sunday night, well it’s more like Monday morning in the night, I got up around 1:30am with a bad stomach ache. I went to the bathroom to find that I had bad diarrhea, like, bad. I felt sick too, but thought I’d be fine by the end of the night. I got up again later around 3am this time with diarrhea plus … throwing up – something I hadn’t done in so many years! I found myself laughing at myself. Then I went back to the room and started laughing for throwing up again, my friend Do not understanding why. In the morning, around 6am I got up with a stomach ache still and felt sick, there was someone in the bathroom, so I grabbed a bucket (good thing we’re in the process of painting and etc. otherwise I wouldn’t have found one as easily) and, threw up again. I sat outside on the little porch and laughed at myself again.

I wanted to go to work, because I felt quite good minus my stomach that felt different and fragile, but my roommates made me stay home for the day. And I am grateful they did because I’ve been sleeping and I still feel weak and sick. I’ve never had Gastro before so, I didn’t know I would continue to feel bad after throwing up. Ah well.

Sorry, it was a pretty disgusting post.

  6. Hmmm, well there is diarrhea that is not so liquid and some that’s BAD, which is simply brown liquid and some that’s really bad which is liquid + irritation. I can’t believe I’m explaining my views on diarrhea here.
Yes, I know p’pa was joking.
No I don’t want to still be sick next weekend, especially that I am cooking for Béthel again and that I am no longer sick! But I wish I could hang out with you guys! See you soon!
