I’m not going to say that this is a proof of anything because it would be wrong to say thus. But just for the pleasure, I’ll tell you guys that meat is an essential part of MY diet.
You see, we were out of meat and eggs. So I pretty much just ate vegetables, fruits and peanut butter during the weekend, ah and pop corn too. I could have gone to the grocery store and bought some meat, but I did not. I suppose I’m lazy.
Now today I got up and went to the grocery store and bought some cereals (two kinds for my two roommates), fruits (everything that was cheap), milk (for the cereals), and … yes, eggs and some chicken. Aren’t you happy to know what we’ve got in our fridge now?
The strange thing is that I have felt really weak all through the day and not hungry (but I went to bed at 10:30 last night when I usually don’t sleep before 11:30 - 12). I thought it was strange. Thus it seems that MY body needs meat to be strong.
I’m telling you all that omitting some information so you believe that I actually need meat, or that my body needs to adjust. My nose and eyes have been running since yesterday, I’m either starting a cold or my “spring allergies”. Well, maybe meat has nothing to do with my lack of energy then.
Funny thing that I read this passage this morning:
“Now the Spirit expressly says that in later times some will depart from the faith by devoting themselves to deceitful spirits and teachings of demons, through the insincerity of liars whose consciences are seared, who forbid marriage and require abstinence from foods that God created to be received with thanksgiving by those who believe and know the truth. For everything created by God is good, and nothing is to be rejected if it is received with thanksgiving, for it is made holy by the word of God and prayer.”
