not alone

I wasn’t alone to start school in my family this week. Iain my nephew started kintergarten just today!

He looks thrilled eh? Well, no worries, I was told he had a great time.

Many years ago, you also stood on the same corner to go to school - remember!
It seems like it was only yesturday when my kids were waiting there and now its my grandkids!

I was on the same corner too. But I don’t remember the first day. I remember before, when Luc Marianne and Gabielle went to school, and I had to stay home with Mom. I was so eager to go on the school bus. The first day I came back home, the bus went on the opposite direction of my house, so I started to cry believing that I was lost forever!

I remember, one time, the usual bus driver was sick or I don’t know, so there was this strange man driving in her place. Since I didn’t know him, I did not want to go in the bus. I was in… kindergarten or grade one. Marianne had gotten in, and the bus started to go away. I finally jumped in. I just couldn’t trust a stranger and was crying as the bus brought me to school.
