We’re at FIVE DOLLARS AND FIFTY CENTS for the Bank for Native Missoionaries so far for December. Thanks for your bucks!
On a different note, I don’t know if some of you guys have been praying about my exams coming up (like tomorrow!) or if you even noticed the “Prayer Requests” at the right hand of this blog, but really I want to thank you if you have been praying. I haven’t touched one exam yet and I am really unsure how they’ll turn out, I hope they’ll be ok, just ok. I have never been really good at school so I don’t trust that I will suddenly be super good, especially it’s my first semester at university and it’s been 4 years I haven’t studied in a school… and that I even didn’t go through Cegep! But oh well. I believe that God has heard your prayers (and/or mine).
You see, we’ve been working on syntax for… six weeks… so about 18 hours (3×6hours) and it’s just exactly a week before the final exam that I started understanding (a week ago!). So it really took me many hours of listening to something that sounded Greek to me, lots of frustration as I tried but couldn’t understand, lots of prayers, to finally lead me into a ok knowledge of the material. Seriously I have learned new things and understood better each single time I tried to understand since the last 6 days, and tmorrow is the final. So thanks for your prayers and remember me tomorrow, Tuesday, in the afternoon and evening. I’ll do my best, that’s all I can do.
